What this unit is about
Data storytelling is presenting data as a clear story, so people understand the message and can act on it, not just see raw numbers.
1. Three parts of a data story
A good data story has data (the facts), a clear message (what the data means), and a visual (a chart that shows the point).
2. Choosing the right chart
A line chart shows change over time, a bar chart compares groups, and a pie chart shows parts of a whole. Pick the chart that makes your point clearest.
